About the programme

Using a combination of needs assessment, training and mentorship, the programme is designed to empower you to take impactful steps and tackle real-world challenges at work.

Working at your own pace, learning is very flexible and split over three stages:

  1. Online self-study, available 24/7 (should take approximately 3-6 hours per module to complete).
  2. Once completed, you will attend a face-to-face or online tutor-led, interactive session with an industry expert to practically apply your learning and network with your peers. Please check that you are available on the date listed for your chosen module live session  see Skills Pathway modules (PDF)
  3. Finally, once all modules are completed, you will be eligible for up to five hours of one-to-one mentorship, matched to your needs by the Learner Engagement Lead. These sessions will support you to apply your new expertise to overcome the challenges you face in the real-world business environment.

At the end of the programme, you will be awarded the UWE Bristol digital badge. You will also have access to a wide range of resources, support and progression opportunities to suit your career and development goals.

Our pathways

Designed to be as flexible as possible, you can choose 1-6 short modules from the 20 available from any of the four pathways – feel free to mix and match across the pathways to suit your areas of interest.  Register your interest now and our Learner Engagement Lead will help you choose your modules and together you will design a development programme which is tailored to meet your needs and goals.

All learners will access a short induction module which will set you up for success on your individual learning journey. It will help you reflect on your current situation, clarify your individual needs and identify achievable goals.

Take a look at each pathway for a full list of available modules and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. Module details and live session dates are also available for each module — see Skills Pathway modules (PDF).
